Leave a Legacy
Leave a Legacy When writing your Will, please think of BECHAR and how you could help us in our work.
Give as you earn
Give AS You Earn is the biggest payroll giving scheme in the UK. It is the simplest way to give to charity direct from your pay tax free.
Our current funders include Bedford Borough Council, Bedfordshire Drug & Alcohol Action Team, Bedford Primary Care Trust (NHS),The Panacea Society, Tudor Trust Foundation, The Gale Family Trust and various charitable trusts.
Particularly valuable to us is the very generous support we receive from the local community, from churches, schools and businesses.
We have a team of 8 people looking after the day-to-day running of the centre. Our Directors are active members of the community and offer a wide range of business and life experience. We have a round 30 volunteers who give varying amounts of their time, helping within the centre or offering activities with which they have particular expertise.
Professionals from other agencies run more specialist activities. many guests help with jobs at the Centre and this contributes to the community or ‘family’ atmosphere within the Centre.

Volunteers are needed to help serve lunch for just a few hours on an occasional Saturday or Sunday. Please contact the Administrator on 01234 365955 or via our contact us page.
